Tech Note:


    For any of the following three issues:
  • a. You don't see a binary of pssSearch that will work on your platform.
  • b. The binary of pssSearch that you downloaded does not work on your UNIX or Linux platform.
  • c. You're not sure what Unix or Linux you are running:
    From a command prompt, run the command below on the Webserver on which you intend to run pssSearch. Mail the output to support@progressivesoft.com. PSS will send you a compiled version of pssSearch that will work on your platform. ldd `which perl`

    Please note that the command is not in single quotes--the command itself includes the back ticks (the key left of the "1" key on many keyboards).
